Aspen Medical is at the forefront of addressing and managing the COVID-19 response, both in Australia and in the Indo-Pacific. During the last 2 years, Aspen Medical has rapidly deployed over 120 hard and soft-shelter respiratory clinics around Australia to increase the Australian Department of Health’s (DoH) capacity for both COVID-19 testing and care for respiratory diseases.
Aspen Medical provided immediate logistics support from site inspection to installation of shelters, initial PPE and consumables, additional equipment, and onsite staff training in infection control protocol. On behalf of the Australian DoH, Aspen Medical developed online COVID-19 infection control training for health professionals which over 3 million people have completed. Aspen Medical is also leading the COVID-19 vaccination rollout in the aged-care and disability sectors, with over 400,000 doses being administered to date.
